My Favorite Party Vendor List

If you like to host, it’s good to know what vendors you can trust to do a good job, be professional, and deliver consistent & quality services/products. Over the years I have hosted many different types of parties and I’ve come to love those who have helped make the parties a success. If you don’t want to host a big party, most if not all of these vendors can help you with family gatherings, birthday parties, seasonal celebrations, etc. Yall know I like to experience something for myself before I start to recommend to others and I have done just that with this list of individuals and businesses. I have experienced their customer service, quality of product, and witnessed their work ethic firsthand. They are definitely a 10/10 recommendation from me.

Let’s start with food because you can’t have a party (at least not a successful one) without good food. For the most part, I love making my own food. I typically have idea boards on Pinterest for different fun holiday treats based on the theme of the party, then a “main meal” that people can actually get full on.

  • HEB‘s prime meat is fantastic, if you’re looking for simple, quality, and quick
  • Sams Club does great tenderloins, easy for slicing up and serving or adding a simple side to
  • Chicken Salad Chick sells by the pound yall, if you didn’t already know this…. you’re welcome
  • Snake River Farms is my go-to for all my brisket needs
  • Frescos Catering– If you’re looking for an all around caterer for your event/party, they are absolutely fantastic
  • Heads or Tails Crawfish Truck was a huge hit for my Saint Patty’s Crawfish Boil, great flavor too
  • The Beignet Truck also catered to my Crawfish Boil and they were SO delicious, they also did special coffee and hot chocolate which was amazing

If you want to bring something special and sweet into the mix, you can’t go wrong with custom cakes, cookies or treats. Not only are these vendors talented artistically and make their products look amazing, but the taste is out of this world!

  • Southern Charm Cakery, Laura does amazing cakes (that are so delicious), assorted sweet treats and cupcakes.
  • Cookie Era are a work of art, she has done all different kinds for me over the last few years and knocks it out of the park every time.
  • Murry Bakery is a staple for Burleson, everything is made from scratch and you can taste the love they pour into their recipes.

Getting any party theme right means great decorations! While Amazon is a great place to buy last minute or unique things you can’t source locally, I love to support friends and small businesses. The following are my savings graces for seasonal decorating, decorative florals and arrangements, etc.

  • Breck & Co. Floral does amazing live arrangements, they’re my number 1 local Florist pick
  • The Botanical Mix is my Artificial Arrangement Angel; every artificial arrangement in my home, salon, and studio as well as my seasonal door badges are done by them. You could say I’m partial but they are truly so beautiful every single time and always so perfect.
  • The Balloon Co. DFW is the master of balloons. This team has put together multiple extravagant balloon arches for me and I can promise you, they will far exceed anything you can blow up yourself at home. They take balloons to the next level.
  • Kristy Jones is my staging and floral creating Queen. If you follow me on Instagram then you might have witnessed her magic.  She also brought my cherry blossom trees to life and they were probably one of my favorite things ever decorated for spring. Has a heart of gold and is so good at being resourceful.
  • Rachel Cummings & Brooke Littlejohn are two of the best when it comes to decorating, they decorate my Christmas tree every year & it always turns out absolutely beautiful. I cannot wait to show yall how we do Halloween here at my place this year, it’s going to be SPOOKTACULAR! I will definitely share the final product on my social media (be sure to follow along there, I share behind the scenes in my stories).

For large events that call for professionals like photographers, videographers, planners and the like these people will take such good care of you. They all love what they do and it shows in their work

  • Attentional all future brides, Tami Winn Events will be your saving grace. Detail and design oriented with so much passion between the team to help make your day the best it can possibly be.
  • Hello Beautiful Films & Taylor Perkey are both great choices for all videography needs
  • Ashley Rutland Photography is another great one for capturing special moments. Another photographer who has a very bright and light style, she has an extensive portfolio you can view on her website

Special Vendors I have used in the past that just add to the seasonal spirit and environment of the party:

  • Santa Steven Janssen is a personal friend of mine and a wonderful Santa figure.
  • Santa Dennis & Mrs. Claus came to my Christmas party in 2021 and they were a huge hit with the kids, they made their intro by singing along with the kids to Jingle Bells, sat and read them a Christmas book, and of course listened to all of the Christmas wishes. They were such a sweet couple, highly recommend them to anyone lookin for Mr & Mrs Claus.
  • Uptown Carolers provided A Capella Christmas carolers for my 2021 Christmas party and they sang beautifully, they knew different traditional and classic Christmas songs as guests chatted and the kids talked to Santa
  • The Bubble Truck is one for the kids or the kids at heart. They can travel anywhere and bring a sudsy-fun time, it’s such a unique experience too if you want to step outside the lines for normal party entertainment.

I hope this list of recommendations helps you the next time you’re planning a party, special event, or just want to add something extra to a family gathering. As always, my recommendations come from personal preference and experience. Whoever and however you choose

@keepyourforkmealprep coming in clutch with the shower catering. I went ahead and tried one with my martini to make sure she wasn’t poisoning my guests.
Turns out, she knows what she is doing!

How cute are these rosettes for the shower Tomm? 💍
I haven’t been my usual self. Not for a long while now.
I’ve been a roller coaster honestly.
Since 2020, where everything in my life changed.

I’ve experienced loss. I have experienced death. I have experienced divorce.
Maybe I wasn’t old enough to fully grasp or understand but I do now.

I didn’t lose my child, but I walked through the loss of a friends child. I was quite literally in the trenches. I fought public battles and private ones.
We experienced a financial blow where our secretary embezzled from us, lying to us, leaving us with quite a mess to clean up. But we did it.
I experienced the betrayal of my best friend. A loss I had to endure mostly in private as to not bring more public scrutiny to an already tragic situation.
I had my step daughter come live with us, then my step son. Changing life as we know it. Our Choice, but never the less.
Add on Covid, an economic downturn turn, grumpy people, and just heaviness in the world.

It’s hard to share links and stuff when life has humbled me like this.
It’s hard to talk about being a boss when you’re struggling to understand.

And I’m still struggling. Material things seem so trivial now. Goofy reels can make us laugh but honestly, all I feel is serious.

People’s lives have forever changed. People lost people, people are dying, people uprooted from their homes, their lives turned upside down. Children suffering, and so much unhappiness.

I’m trying to understand my new purpose. But it seems so much deeper. So much larger. So much more profound. I just haven’t got there yet.

In the mean time, where does that leave us? Sure, I’ll show you the new fan I got, (shark flex breeze which is amazing for real) but what I really want to show you is life after tragedy.
Life after betrayal.
Life after hurt.

I’ve lived an amazing life. So many things to be grateful for. So many poor choices leading me to a life of gratitude and happiness. I’ve been on top. I’ve been on bottom. I have earned my way to all of it.

Choosing gratitude amidst chaos. Choosing happiness amongst confusion. Choosing a forward path when so much is pulling you backwards.

Always having hope. 🤍
Hardest working man I have ever met.
I wanted a new UTV, he made it happen.
I wanted a new coop, he made it happen.
I wanted chicken tractor, he made it happen.
I wanted a new table to eat dinner outside on, he made it happen.
I send a recipe, he makes it happen.

No matter how big or small, he makes it happen.
No matter how important or silly, he makes it happen.

He answers every single time I call.
He holds me any time I want.
He does whatever It takes to make me happy.

He shows me I matter in every single thing he does, every single minute of every single day.

He is my husband. 🩷
Something I’ve been noticing lately…
People go to other people looking for advice. The problem is, they don’t give all the details.
People love to give advice, with out hearing all the details.
Especially when it involves 2 people.

If you’re seeking advice with out sharing both sides, it’s not actually advice you’re seeking, it’s validation.
If you’re giving advice with out hearing both sides, it’s not advice you’re giving but enabling.

Ask yourself, does this make sense? Is there more to the story? Bc the truth is, people who genuinely love and care for their friends or family give safe, honest, open, sometimes hard truth advice. Even when it’s uncomfortable. Bc real love and real friendship wants what’s best, not just what we want to hear.
