I own The Ritz Salon and Spa in Burleson, Texas. I am a hair stylist (16 years) and brow artist (7 years), specializing in microblading. My work is highlighted on my instagram or you can view our website theritzsalonandspa.com

Why did I become a blogger/influencer?

I like honesty. I am not here to sell you anything, I am here to share products, tips and tricks I love and use everyday. I share sales, but I will buy a good product based on performance, not price.
Women need honesty not bandwagons.

What do I enjoy?

How do I describe my style?

I like a luxury accessories with boutique clothing. I can be seen in things from $20-$10,000. I like what I like, I do not care what it costs. Target is just as important to me as my appreciation of luxury design. I love a good bargain and Im not afraid to purchase something that holds value for years to come. I don't waste my money on things that won't wear more than a few times. I always want to be authentic and original.

This girl is always begging me for coffee. Ummm absolutely not.

I was the strict mom who didn’t let my kids have cokes and such. Once a week. On the weekends. And only Friday OR Saturday. Never both.

I’m a big believer kids don’t get the same things as adults. My rules we’re when you can pay for it, you can have it. Like nails.

I believe a huge part of our youths problems are thinking they are your equal. Instead of your CHILD. To be the child means they can’t do grown up things and rely on YOU to make good, positive, healthy decisions for them.
That’s the point right? Their brain isn’t developed yet. So why we letting them run around making decisions for themselves?

Anywho…..then there is me as a grandma. I still try to be a positive influence and keep her little but I don’t have to be the parent.

So, today I let her get a coffee. DECAF. Half sweet.

She thinks she is HOT STUFF at the @dutchbroscoffee

Little does she know. I’m still always going to look out for her best interest. And I am not afraid of saying no. Ever.

Love is boundaries.
Love is tough sometimes.
Love says no. It’s not what’s best for you.

Quit trying to let the world tell you love is letting your kids grow up too fast and being your built in bestie.

I’m not a huge breakfast eater. And if I do eat breakfast, I prefer meat. Like I could be the girl who eats a full on steak for breakfast.
Needless to say, I’m not a sweets eater. Very rarely do I eat donuts or such.

But when I do, I love a chocolate with peanuts or coconut. And a side of donut holes.

Today was one of those mornings. And I swear since Covid my sweets craving is a smidgen worse? Or is this menopause? 🤷🏼‍♀️
