Do you struggle with learning and understanding the Bible? I grew up in Church. I Attended Church Camps, Vacation Bible School, and Sunday School and I still struggled with Bible comprehension until I found “The Story” by Randy Frazee. Link to Randy’s Page
It takes the Bible and puts it in chronological order, allowing it to read just like a novel. The Best part about the book is the corresponding bible verses in the back. You can read a chapter, then read the corresponding verses to dive deeper.
Second Time: Story with corresponding scripture from my study bible.
Third Time: Story, corresponding scripture, and Tony Evans Commentary
Fourth Time: Story, Scripture, Commentary, Tony Evans Bible
Fifth Time: Story, Scripture, Commentary, TE Bible, Tony Evans podcast
Each time I dive deeper and deeper, learning and picking up more and more. It’s like watching a movie. Not like Happy Gilmore, more like Game of Thrones. You can learn plot, characters and time line first read. But each time you read it. you learn more about the plot, the details, how the timeline works and become more familiar with characters.
But more importantly you learn about God. His plan, his purpose, his love for you. You learn your purpose and how you fit into his perfect plan. You build your own intimate relationship with The Lord. It’s simply LIFE CHANGING.
I would love to connect with you in messenger with any questions or feedback you may have.
Happy Reading! Go Grow with the Lord. You’ll never make a better investment than this one.

I love a good crock pot recipe that you can dump in and walk away from, come back to and it’s cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. This Crock Pot Chicken Chili recipe is just that! The even greater thing about it is you can use the chicken for so many different things: add tortilla strips and eat as soup, use a little less juice and use chicken and veggies for tacos, enchiladas, nachos, etc.
Author:Adrianne Argumaniz
Ingredients
Scale
Pantry Items
1 (15oz can) Black beans (drained and rinsed)
1 (15oz can) Corn Kernels (un-drained)
1 (10oz can) Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies (un-drained)
1 (1 oz package) Ranch Dressing mix
Seasonings
1 Tsp Cumin
1 Tbsp chili powder
1 tsp onion powder
Refrigerated Items
1 (8oz package) Cream Cheese
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
Instructions
1. Place chicken at the bottom of the crock pot. Add in all canned items
2. Top with seasonings & ranch mix
3. Cut your cream cheese into chunks and place on top (cutting into chunks will allow it to soften and melt more evenly).
4. Leave on low for 6-8 hours until chicken is cooked through. Shred right in pot with 2 forks and mix altogether to combine cream cheese with veggies.
Notes
Freeze everything but the cream cheese in a freezer bag for a super easy “dump” meal later on, or gift to a friend in need.
Substitute Fiesta ranch mix and void all seasonings if you’d like to make it super easy.
For a thinner chili, you can add just a little bit of chicken broth to thin out the consistency.
Don’t have chicken breasts? No problem! Substitute in chicken tenders, use about 2-3 lbs total.

New to The Shop
It’s not just the seasons changing around here, we’ve added a few changes to the shop as well and that’s what this update is all about!
First up, I didn’t think it was possible, but I found a shampoo and conditioner with a BETTER pH than Lanza. *insert gasp*. I know I know, wild right? If you’ve followed along for long you know Lanza has been my holy grail for shampoo and conditioner for years. A few months ago when I went on my hair growth quest for good products, I found the company Goldie Locks. I take their hair supplement every day and have been loving it. I then tried out their Ultra Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner on myself for a month straight, because yall know I won’t recommend something without trying it first. LOVED IT! I mean just absolutely loved this shampoo and conditioner, and it smells so yummy (like vitamin c almost).
Things to LOVE about this shampoo and conditioner; it’s made for ALL hair types, extension friendly, color safe, vegan and cruelty free. Also free of sulfates, parabens, phthalates, gluten and DMDMH. Biotin is one of the many nourishing ingredients included in the ingredient list, along with a host of other hydrating oils that helps keep your hair and scalp hydrated in all types of weather and seasons. Another great thing about this particular brand…. they offer bottle refill pouches for both liter and smaller bottles, so you help reduce the amount of plastic used and help to make a difference for positive environment change, one refill at a time. Links for both of these below!
Next up, this thing called Brow Soap. It’s not what it sounds like…. it’s so much better! The company that produces my Rose Gold Oil came out recently with a new product called Brow Soap and it’s basically brow lamination you can do at home! We’ve already tested it out and we love it! For those who have thicker, fuller brows that need some help taming the strands in the right direction, this is for you! It comes with an applicator and is so easy to apply. Brow Soap
Thirdly, we have RESTOCKED Rose Gold Oil. If you watched my baby-soft feet hack a week ago you know this Rose Gold Oil is a key component in the transformation! If you’ve been wanting to get your hands (or feet) on some of this stuff the link is below! We will have a limited supply for the holidays so make sure not to leave this in your cart, it may not be there when you go back for it! Rose Gold Oil
Lastly, If you don’t follow along in my Instagram stories (you really should, we have so much fun there) then you don’t know about the HUGE 50% OFF sale I have on all lash styles. I’m getting the old styles cleaned out to make room for new styles and CLEAR banded lashes coming in 2023. I’m so excited, the clear bands are a game changer! There’s nothing wrong with the styles on sale, I’m just making room for new inventory. All lash adhesives and tools are also 30% OFF as well, which is fabulous news for you! Shop the entire sale here Ritzy Lashes Sale
We made this hearty cabbage roll stew and it is YUM-O! If you love cabbage and easy recipes, you’re definitely going to enjoy this one! Perfect for feeding a larger crowd and an easy-fresh week night dinner that you won’t be too tired to put together for your family. Trust me, we made this after getting home from our Mississippi trip!

Cook Time:30 min
Total Time:45 min
Yield:6 servings 1x
Ingredients
Scale
Seasonings
2 Tsp olive oil (only if using lean beef with minimal fat content)
1 bay leaf
2 Tbsp parsley
Salt & Pepper to taste
Pantry Items
4 cups beef broth
3 8oz cans of Tomato sauce
3 Tbsp brown sugar
1/2 cups uncooked long grain rice
Vegetables & Meat
1 lb ground beef
1 onion finely diced
2 Tsp minced garlic
4 cups coarsely chopped cabbage (green or purple whichever you prefer)
2 carrots (peeled, quartered & sliced)
Instructions
You will need a large pot as this yields 6 servings.
Place pot over medium high heat, add the ground beef and begin browning, add salt and pepper to taste (add olive oil at beginning if using lean beef).
Once beef is broken up and browned completely, add the onion and garlic and cook until fragrant. About 2-3 minutes
Next add the brown sugar and mix around until coated with beef, onion and garlic. Continue adding remaining ingredients; beef broth, tomato sauce, carrots, cabbage, rice and bay leaf. Add more salt and pepper if your heart so desires.
Bring the contents to a simmer and cook for about 25 minutes or until rice is tender. Once rice is tender remove bay leaf and discard.
Garnish bowls with parsley & enjoy!
Notes
Prepping ingredients first makes this process go by so much faster, especially if you have several sets of hands to help with chopping and measuring.
If you so choose you can substitute the ground beef with ground turkey.

My Favorite Party Vendor List
If you like to host, it’s good to know what vendors you can trust to do a good job, be professional, and deliver consistent & quality services/products. Over the years I have hosted many different types of parties and I’ve come to love those who have helped make the parties a success. If you don’t want to host a big party, most if not all of these vendors can help you with family gatherings, birthday parties, seasonal celebrations, etc. Yall know I like to experience something for myself before I start to recommend to others and I have done just that with this list of individuals and businesses. I have experienced their customer service, quality of product, and witnessed their work ethic firsthand. They are definitely a 10/10 recommendation from me.
Let’s start with food because you can’t have a party (at least not a successful one) without good food. For the most part, I love making my own food. I typically have idea boards on Pinterest for different fun holiday treats based on the theme of the party, then a “main meal” that people can actually get full on.
HEB‘s prime meat is fantastic, if you’re looking for simple, quality, and quick
Sams Club does great tenderloins, easy for slicing up and serving or adding a simple side to
Chicken Salad Chick sells by the pound yall, if you didn’t already know this…. you’re welcome
The Beignet Truck also catered to my Crawfish Boil and they were SO delicious, they also did special coffee and hot chocolate which was amazing
If you want to bring something special and sweet into the mix, you can’t go wrong with custom cakes, cookies or treats. Not only are these vendors talented artistically and make their products look amazing, but the taste is out of this world!
Southern Charm Cakery, Laura does amazing cakes (that are so delicious), assorted sweet treats and cupcakes.
Cookie Era are a work of art, she has done all different kinds for me over the last few years and knocks it out of the park every time.
Murry Bakery is a staple for Burleson, everything is made from scratch and you can taste the love they pour into their recipes.
Getting any party theme right means great decorations! While Amazon is a great place to buy last minute or unique things you can’t source locally, I love to support friends and small businesses. The following are my savings graces for seasonal decorating, decorative florals and arrangements, etc.
Breck & Co. Floral does amazing live arrangements, they’re my number 1 local Florist pick
The Botanical Mix is my Artificial Arrangement Angel; every artificial arrangement in my home, salon, and studio as well as my seasonal door badges are done by them. You could say I’m partial but they are truly so beautiful every single time and always so perfect.
The Balloon Co. DFW is the master of balloons. This team has put together multiple extravagant balloon arches for me and I can promise you, they will far exceed anything you can blow up yourself at home. They take balloons to the next level.
Kristy Jones is my staging and floral creating Queen. If you follow me on Instagram then you might have witnessed her magic. She also brought my cherry blossom trees to life and they were probably one of my favorite things ever decorated for spring. Has a heart of gold and is so good at being resourceful.
Rachel Cummings & Brooke Littlejohn are two of the best when it comes to decorating, they decorate my Christmas tree every year & it always turns out absolutely beautiful. I cannot wait to show yall how we do Halloween here at my place this year, it’s going to be SPOOKTACULAR! I will definitely share the final product on my social media (be sure to follow along there, I share behind the scenes in my stories).
For large events that call for professionals like photographers, videographers, planners and the like these people will take such good care of you. They all love what they do and it shows in their work
Attentional all future brides, Tami Winn Events will be your saving grace. Detail and design oriented with so much passion between the team to help make your day the best it can possibly be.
Hello Beautiful Films & Taylor Perkey are both great choices for all videography needs
Ashley Rutland Photography is another great one for capturing special moments. Another photographer who has a very bright and light style, she has an extensive portfolio you can view on her website
Special Vendors I have used in the past that just add to the seasonal spirit and environment of the party:
Santa Dennis & Mrs. Claus came to my Christmas party in 2021 and they were a huge hit with the kids, they made their intro by singing along with the kids to Jingle Bells, sat and read them a Christmas book, and of course listened to all of the Christmas wishes. They were such a sweet couple, highly recommend them to anyone lookin for Mr & Mrs Claus.
Uptown Carolers provided A Capella Christmas carolers for my 2021 Christmas party and they sang beautifully, they knew different traditional and classic Christmas songs as guests chatted and the kids talked to Santa
The Bubble Truck is one for the kids or the kids at heart. They can travel anywhere and bring a sudsy-fun time, it’s such a unique experience too if you want to step outside the lines for normal party entertainment.
I hope this list of recommendations helps you the next time you’re planning a party, special event, or just want to add something extra to a family gathering. As always, my recommendations come from personal preference and experience. Whoever and however you choose
This was my go to dessert last year! I could throw it together on a weeknight and my husband and kids would demolish it. I made it for Tatums Friendsgiving and the boys were begging me to send their moms the recipe. Its such an easy dessert you can throw it together for a Friday night get together, class party or just to celebrate yourself!

Health Benefits of Bone Broth
A cup of bone broth a day keeps the doctor away….. that’s not really how the saying goes but honestly it should!
If you know me at all you know that I’m a researcher. I like to make sure what I recommend and put my name behind is both reputable and supported by facts. When it comes to biotin and protein, I have preached the benefits for hair growth and health to my clients for 16 years, however there just wasn’t a collagen supplement I could get behind. The topic of collagen supplements are so controversial right now, I just think there’s more research and studying to be done before we can truly deem it “effective” as far as helping hair growth. I’ve always been a big advocate for consuming foods that contain protein for optimal protein intake versus taking a supplement, so when I began my research for a collagen rich food, bone broth was the best recommendation. There are options available at the grocery store if you don’t want to DIY, however I wanted to get the best results possible so I gathered all the ingredients needed and made it myself at home. It was so easy, and did you know it can last up to two to three months in the freezer?! That’s so much more cost effective than buying one jar at the store and getting minimal usage versus making your own and saving it (for my family size anyway). My whole family is on this bone broth journey with me, so it just made more sense for us to make a big batch.
Bone marrow is really the driving force behind the nutrient density of bone broth. It not only contains rich amounts of collagen but also glycine (an anti-inflammatory and relaxing agent), conjugated linoleic acid (helps skin to retain moisture), and glucosamine (fights against joint arthritis and joint pain). Because bone broth contains the benefits that are found in bone marrow, it makes it a great option for helping your body with functions like; fighting osteoarthritis (bone arthritis), reducing joint pain as mentioned before, protecting overall joint health, helping in production of healthy hair, skin and nails, aiding in digestive functions and reducing inflammation in the gut, aiding in sleep and sleep quality, and in some cases may help people lose weight (because it’s rich in protein, drinking bone broth can make people feel more full for longer periods which reduces a persons eating). If bone broth reduces inflammation in the gut and helps promote gut health, then it also helps support your immune system because 70% of our immune system is located in the gut! I mean…..Do I need to keep going further?!
There’s a reason the practice of making and consuming bone broth has literally been around for hundreds and thousands of years. Interestingly enough, cancer patients are often encouraged by their doctors to drink bone broth when going through Chemo treatments in order to replace key nutrients their bodies are lacking and to help keep their strength while going through treatment. Vomiting and diarrhea are often accompanied with chemo treatments so bone broth also ensures the patient stays hydrated and those nutrients that are lost are replaced. If bone broth is a great option for when a person is most-sick in their life, think of level of benefit the majority of people can experience when they consume it while not being sick?
While bone broth may not be “magic” or a “cure-all” there’s no denying it contains really beneficial nutrients and minerals that our bodies need and that we probably aren’t getting in our daily American diets. I hope you will consider trying this out, it truly could be a game changer for you. I’m excited to keep traveling on this bone broth journey and seeing where it leads me and the health of my family.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but—if you’re someone who inspires people, chances are, you also intimidate people.
Not because you’re doing anything wrong, but because your light exposes what others haven’t yet tapped into within themselves.
Inspiration and intimidation are two sides of the same mirror.
What one person sees as motivation, another sees as a reminder of everything they’ve been avoiding. Your confidence, your consistency, your evolution—it’s magnetic to some and uncomfortable for others.
You walk into a room and people either feel charged or challenged. Both reactions say more about them than they do about you.
You don’t have to shrink to be seen as safe. You don’t have to dim to make others feel comfortable.
Let your presence provoke growth, even if it rattles something in the process.
If your existence sparks something in people—whether it’s admiration or resistance—you’re doing something right.
Keep being that mirror. The ones who are meant to rise with you will see their reflection and get to work.
