Healing ruined me.
Can’t lie, can’t fake, can’t small talk.
Can’t pretend I’m ok when I’m not.
Can’t unsee red flags, or laugh at things that aren’t funny.
Now I crave real, I crave peace, I crave people who don’t flinch at honesty.

And I’m so blessed that I get all of the latter and can be my authentic self 100% of the time with this man.
No games, no drama, no BS.

Simple, peaceful, mutual love and respect. I just don’t have it in me anymore to work to make people love or like me.

And life is so much better bc of it. 🤍

Three sets of feet out harvesting the plumcots off our tree. Just a set of grandparents teaching their grand daughter the value of growing your food, respecting and valuing what nature provides and how to nourish our bodies. Grumps gave her a lesson in eating at least one piece of fruit a day….her little hand in his, walking next to him, and asking if a lime is considered fruit. She is his grand child. If you don’t know my husbands two front teeth are fake from eating limes. 🤣

These simple moments on a wed night forever shape who she will become and I’m so honored to be a part of it.

This comeback is personal. For putting up with stuff I didn’t deserve.

For a long time I thought if I was quiet, if I just let it go, they needed it more than me, they were going through worse, people do funny things in time of crisis, their feelings mattered, we just have to agree to disagree….im strong, I can handle it.

But no, I matter too. My feelings are valid. I didn’t and don’t deserve it. And my testimony matters. My voice matters.

So let this be a warning, I’m coming back. Better than ever. ✌🏼
