I own The Ritz Salon and Spa in Burleson, Texas. I am a hair stylist (16 years) and brow artist (7 years), specializing in microblading. My work is highlighted on my instagram or you can view our website theritzsalonandspa.com

Why did I become a blogger/influencer?

I like honesty. I am not here to sell you anything, I am here to share products, tips and tricks I love and use everyday. I share sales, but I will buy a good product based on performance, not price.
Women need honesty not bandwagons.

What do I enjoy?

How do I describe my style?

I like a luxury accessories with boutique clothing. I can be seen in things from $20-$10,000. I like what I like, I do not care what it costs. Target is just as important to me as my appreciation of luxury design. I love a good bargain and Im not afraid to purchase something that holds value for years to come. I don't waste my money on things that won't wear more than a few times. I always want to be authentic and original.

Yall! I had a mind blowing, eye opening epiphany about myself today and I’m so excited I can hardly stand it. Do you get like that when you learn more about the whys? Why you are the way you are? Or why you do the things you do?

I figured out why I’m such an open book. Like I have known that about myself but not sure exactly like where in my life I became that. Or why?

My friend called me a protector this morning. Which is very true. I’m a fierce protector bc I wasn’t protected as a child. We tend to do things better when we were affected so greatly.

But who’s protecting me? I always have. I can stand rumors and gossip. I can’t stand untruths. I can stand false images.
If you’re gonna love me, love me for exactly who I am.
If you’re gonna hate me, let it be for the same reason. Hate me for me.

So when I put it all out there, it isn’t for yall. I don’t care who knows what. It frees me! No one holds anything over me. No one is spinning my truth. I accept me just the way I am. Bc I can face my truths. I can face my faults. I can face the things that have happened, my fault or someone else’s. I can stand and deal with what I know and what I accept.
No one knows me better than me.
No one knows my life better than me.

And when I am my authentic self, OUTLOUD, I am FREE. I hide nothing. I don’t pretend it’s not happening. I don’t paint a different picture.

I have had so many people lie on my life since I was young. Very young. It taught me that I don’t have to live like that. You want to know the truth? You don’t have to hear it from anyone else. You’ll get it from me.

I don’t care if 1 person or a million know my story. That’s Gods work. God will decide where my story is shared or seen. He gave me a platform for a reason bc none of this is mine. It’s HIS.

I’ve said a million times I knew my job was to share my testimony, but I didn’t fully understand it. This is a crucial piece.

We all just want to be accepted and loved. Validated and heard. But you can’t be! Not until you take off your mask!

You have to be willing to be so bold to be your authentic self OUTLOUD, to find your people. Your purpose. Whatever that is!

When I tell you to plant squash the second weekend of March this is what I mean. I already have squash this first week of April. Who can say that?

I’ll have a whole harvest to eat and can before those nasty squash bugs and SVB arrive.

Help me congratulate @teaghen_ on her first day of substitute teaching 3rd graders!
I am so excited for her and those kids. She is going to make such an amazing teacher.
She is so patient, kind, loving and has a built in gift for children. I always knew she would make an amazing mother bc of her patience (a skill I do not have).
She is one of those who lets them talk, play, gets on the floor and plays, pretend plays, and has tons of ideas for crafts and games.

What a gift they all are for each other! I can’t wait to hear all about her first day! Teaghen I’m so so proud of you sweet girl! You’re such an amazing person. Beautiful inside and out! 🫶🏼

Well, it’s official. Argumaniz Acres has its first farm manager.
Harper submitted her resume, and well, if I’m honest, she was the least qualified applicant I’ve ever seen. But considering I had zero other applicants and she is also the Cutest, I hired her on the spot!

She immediately went to work and fed the chicks, watered the ducks, and collected the eggs.
Leaving me with little to no work.

I’m looking forward to our business relationship where she bosses me around and eats and sleeps on the job. I’m prob gonna go broke in snacks.

But hey! Here’s to a new adventure! 🐓
